Scientific Program

The ASV ’08 program will include scientific symposia, workshops, poster sessions, and special educational presentations. Collegial mixers and social events will punctuate the program. The meeting will begin Saturday, July 12th, at 3:30 p.m. with the Welcome Reception, to be followed by the Keynote Address at 5:30 p.m. The first simultaneous workshop sessions will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday evening.

Satellite Meetings
In conjunction with ASV’08, two satellite meetings will be held simultaneously on Saturday, July 12th, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A separate registration fee applies to each satellite, as listed on the registration form.

Presented by the ASV Medical Virology Club, this satellite symposium, organized by Mark Denison, includes a coffee break and buffet luncheon.  Speaker information is availabe on the link below.

Please Note:  All satellite symposium attendees and speakers must pay the registration fee for the general ASV meeting in addition to the registration fee for the satellite meeting. Fees are listed on the ASV meeting registration form. 

Symposia
The Plenary Symposia, organized by ASV President Ann Palmenberg, will take place during the mornings of Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Continuing workshop sessions are scheduled for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday afternoons, as well as Saturday, Sunday and Monday evenings.
